About Toy Line

Toy Line is a route-building puzzle on a little wooden toy railway. Drag from a station door to lay beech track across a floating pastel board, and the moment a line connects a chunky toy train rolls out to carry wood, grain or passengers. Every delivery earns coins for more track, and on bigger levels finished orders open up new parts of the map with more towns to link. Curves slow trains down, forest and hills cost more, and trains that share open track wait their turn, so the cheapest network is not always the fastest one.

Drag wooden toy track across a floating pastel diorama to link forests, farms, mills and towns - your trains roll out the moment a line connects and every delivery pays for the next stretch of track.

How to play Toy Line

Mouse

Left-drag from a station door or a track end to lay track, right-drag to remove it. On big maps, scroll to zoom and middle-drag or Shift-drag to pan; the Fit button shows the whole board again.

Touch

Drag one finger from a station door or a track end to lay track; the cost bubble shows above your finger. Pinch to zoom and drag with two fingers to pan on big maps. Use the Remove tool to pick track up and Undo to take back the last stroke.

Keyboard

Ctrl+Z undoes the last stroke, Space cycles game speed (x1, x2, x3, x5), 1 and 2 switch between Track and Remove, Esc cancels a drag.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • Track only joins where you drag it: drag into an existing line to make a junction.
  • Trains can only enter a station through its door (the arrow on the mat), so plan the last tile first.
  • Curves are slower than straights, and forest and hill tiles cost extra.
  • Lines that share a station each get their own platform, but shared open track makes trains queue.
  • Undo is free within 5 seconds or before a train has used the track.

✨ Features

  • 10 hand-built levels, from a single straight line to a 20x20 toy town
  • Drag-to-build wooden toy track with a live cost preview and door snapping
  • Maps that grow mid-level: finish orders to open new areas, with bonus coins
  • Trains that dispatch, load, deliver and queue on their own, with no crashes
  • Cost and time stars per level, judged on game time so fast-forwarding up to x5 never counts against you
  • Pinch, wheel zoom and pan on big maps; saved stars and a level select

Toy Line FAQ

Can I fail a level?

No. If you run out of coins with no train running, you can refund all your track and plan again, restart, or (where ads are available) watch an optional ad for +100 coins, which caps that level at 2 stars.

Why is my train waiting with a '...' bubble?

Another train is using open track on its route. Each train reserves its whole route before it leaves, so trains never crash; they wait their turn. Building a second line removes the queue but costs more.

Why did the board get bigger?

Some levels start small. Finishing the first orders opens the next part of the map with new towns and orders, and usually adds bonus coins for the extra track.

Does fast-forward change my time star?

No. The clock counts game time, so playing at x2, x3 or x5 gives the same result.
