About Hex Heap
Hex Heap is a colour-stacking puzzle set in a beehive: drag stacks of hex tiles onto the honeycomb and watch matching top colours flip across to their neighbours. When a stack holds ten tiles of one colour on top, it melts away and fills your honey meter. Reach each level's tile goal before the comb runs out of free cells.
Drop stacks of glossy hex tiles into a honeycomb - matching top colours flip across to their neighbours in chain reactions, and ten alike on top melt away into honey.

How to play Hex Heap
Mouse
Drag a stack from the tray onto an empty cell, or click a stack and then click the cell.
Touch
Drag a stack with your finger onto an empty cell; the stack floats above your finger so you can see the target. You can also tap a stack and then tap a cell.
Keyboard
Press 1, 2 or 3 (or Tab) to pick a stack, arrow keys to move the cell cursor, Enter or Space to place it, H for a hint and R to restart.
💡 Tips & tricks
- Gold rings show which neighbours will flip onto your stack — drop where several match.
- Look at the colour under the top band: a stack that reveals a matching colour can start a chain.
- Keep mixed stacks near the edges so they block fewer neighbours.
- Clearing next to a frozen cell thaws it, and sealed wax cells open once the meter reaches their number.
✨ Features
- 24 levels from a 13-cell bud to a 37-cell hive with up to eight colours
- Chain reactions, combos and a honey meter goal per level

- Every colour has its own symbol, and your progress is saved in your browser
Hex Heap FAQ
Is every level beatable?
Stacks are dealt at random, so each level's goal was tuned with a computer player: it reaches the goal in at least 85% of 40 test deals, and the first deal you get is one it has beaten.
What happens when the honeycomb is full?
The level ends. You can try again with a fresh deal, or watch an optional ad to clear the three messiest stacks and keep going.
How are stars awarded?
Stars depend on how many stacks you needed compared with the computer player's average: about the same earns three stars, up to roughly a third more earns two. Using a continue gives one star.
