About After Bell

After Bell is a comic-styled 3D brawler about a school rivalry. Your friend Eli went over to Ridgeway High to get his camera drive back and never came home, so Jace, Marcus and Nina go after him. Fight through ten areas of Chapter 1, from a Northside parking lot to the Ridgeway rooftop. You don't need long combos: tap light and heavy, dodge the red warnings, and use whatever the room gives you. Slam a rival into a locker, bounce him off a car, kick a chair or push a cart. Keep your Flow meter climbing for faster moves and crew duo finishers, beat two bosses, and replay any area for a better grade. Rivals end up dazed or give up. There's no blood and no weapons.

Fight your way across a rival campus with fast melee, crew assists and whatever the room gives you: slam rivals into lockers, kick chairs, keep your Flow up and get your friend back.

How to play After Bell

Mouse

Use the on-screen LIGHT, HEAVY, DODGE, CONTEXT and ASSIST buttons with the mouse, and move with W A S D.

Touch

Drag on the left half of the screen to move. Tap LIGHT and HEAVY to attack, DODGE when a rival flashes red, CONTEXT for the room move shown on the button, and ASSIST to call Marcus or Nina.

Keyboard

W A S D or arrows move. J light, K heavy, L or Space dodge, E context (room move), Q crew assist.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • Dodge right before a red-flashing attack lands for slow motion and a COUNTER that hits much harder.
  • Watch the CONTEXT button: it names the room move in reach, like LOCKER SLAM, CAR BOUNCE, KICK CHAIR or VENDING SHOVE.
  • Switch targets and mix light, heavy and room moves. Flow rises with variety, and repeating one string barely moves it.
  • Against Tower, keep your distance and make him charge into the bleachers or a wall. He is wide open while he is stunned.
  • Caleb reads button mashing. After a few quick light hits he guards and counters, so break up your strings and watch for feints.
  • Grabbed? Mash any attack button or call Nina with ASSIST.

✨ Features

  • Ten hand-built 3D comic-toon areas: parking lot, strip mall, alley, bus stop, school gate, locker hallway, classroom, cafeteria, gym and rooftop
  • Context moves in every space: lockers, walls, cars, dumpsters, benches, tables, chairs, carts, bins, balls, backpacks, doors, vending machine and gym mat
  • Flow meter with Flow State: faster moves, wider targeting and crew duo finishers
  • Crew assists: Marcus charges through with a Shoulder Check, Nina gets you out of grabs and tosses a snack
  • Five rival types plus two bosses, Derek "Tower" Mills and Caleb Voss
  • Per-area grades from C to S, saved progress and an area select for replays

After Bell FAQ

Is After Bell violent?

It's stylized teen action with comic sound words and impact stars. There's no blood and no weapons, and beaten rivals sit down dazed or give up.

Do I have to learn combos?

No. Light and heavy strings are short. Style comes from switching targets, timing dodges and using the room, and the Flow meter rewards that variety.

How are the area grades worked out?

Each area is graded C, B, A or S from your best Flow, how many different moves you used, room moves, damage you avoided, crew teamwork and your time against par. Your best grade for each area is saved.

How do I beat Tower in the gym?

Light hits barely move him. Stay out of reach, let him charge, and dodge so he crashes into the bleachers, a wall or the mat. Then hit hard while he's stunned.

Are there ads?

Ads never interrupt a fight. A short ad may play after an area is cleared. Optional rewarded ads give Second Wind after a knockdown (once per area) or double the style points on a cleared area.
