About Pixel Belt

Pixel Belt is a conveyor pixel-shooter puzzle: a pixel-art picture sits inside a looping toy conveyor, and colored cannon-bots wait in columns below it. Tap a bot and it rides one lap, zapping the outermost pixels of its color in every row and column it passes. Bots with ammo left park in a few dock slots - fill them all and the level is over, so send the right colors at the right time. Every one of the 24 pictures is checked to be clearable.

Send chunky toy cannon-bots around a conveyor belt that loops a pixel-art canvas - each one zaps the outermost pixels of its own color, and the picture vanishes pixel by pixel until it pops back as a finished masterpiece.

How to play Pixel Belt

Mouse

Click the front bot of any column, or a parked bot in the dock, to send it onto the belt. It fires automatically at edge pixels of its own color.

Touch

Tap a bot to launch it. Watch the paint pots above the canvas to see how many pixels of each color are left.

Keyboard

Number keys 1-5 launch a column, arrow keys or Tab select any launchable bot, Enter or Space launches it, H shows a hint and R restarts.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • Look at the outside edge of the picture first - a bot only hits pixels that nothing else covers in that row or column.
  • Removing an outer color uncovers the next one, so peel the picture from the outside in.
  • A bot that comes back with ammo takes a dock slot; the dock outline turns yellow when only one slot is left.
  • Grey '?' bots show their color when they reach the front of their column, so open up columns early to see what is coming.

✨ Features

  • 24 hand-drawn pixel pictures, from cherries to a castle, with 2 to 7 colors
  • Up to five shooter columns, hidden '?' shooters and a shrinking dock in later levels
  • Every color has a symbol too, and a hint that points to a good next shooter
  • Your progress is saved in your browser

Pixel Belt FAQ

Can every level be solved?

Yes. Each level is generated together with a launch order, and a checker replays it with the real rules to confirm the whole picture can be cleared without overfilling the dock.

What happens when the dock is full?

If a bot finishes its lap with ammo left and there is no free dock slot, the level ends. You can try again, or watch an optional ad to add one more dock slot and keep going.

How many bots can ride at once?

The lights under the canvas show the belt capacity (five early on, four later). New bots also wait a moment if another one has just entered the belt.
