Pin Strike

⚽ Bowling Game

About Pin Strike

Pin Strike is a ten-pin bowling game set in a glowing retro alley. Slide the ball to your starting spot, then swipe up: the direction aims, the speed sets the power and the curve of your swipe puts hook on the ball. Every pin is physically simulated, so pocket hits explode the rack while head-on hits can leave nasty splits.

Bowl a full 10-frame game in a neon retro alley: slide to your spot, then swipe up — the swipe's speed is your power and its curve is your hook — and watch real pin physics decide strikes, spares and splits.

How to play Pin Strike

Mouse

Drag the ball sideways to choose where you start, then press and drag quickly upward and release. Bend the drag to the left or right to hook the ball that way.

Touch

Drag sideways to move the ball along the foul line, then swipe up to bowl. A faster swipe throws harder; a curved swipe makes the ball curve late on the lane.

Keyboard

Left/Right arrows move your spot, Up/Down change the hook. Hold Space to charge the power bar, release, then press Space again when the swinging aim line points where you want. H shows a hint, R restarts.

💡 Tips & tricks

  • Aim for the pocket, just beside the front pin, rather than hitting it dead centre: straight-on hits often leave splits.
  • The front of the lane is oily, so the hook only kicks in during the last third. Start wide and let the ball curve back in.
  • Slower balls hook more and faster balls hook less, so change your speed if the ball keeps missing the same way.
  • A strike counts 10 plus your next two balls, so strikes in a row are worth far more than single strikes.

✨ Features

  • Real 2D pin physics: pins knock each other down, bounce off the side walls and can wobble without falling
  • One-swipe controls for aim, power and hook, plus full keyboard play
  • Correct ten-frame scoreboard with strikes, spares and tenth-frame fill balls
  • Your best game is saved in your browser; one optional bonus frame per game

Pin Strike FAQ

How is the score calculated?

Standard ten-pin rules: a strike is worth 10 plus the pins from your next two balls, a spare is 10 plus your next ball, and other frames count the pins knocked down. A perfect game of twelve strikes scores 300.

How do I throw a hook?

Curve your swipe. If the end of your swipe bends to the left, the ball curves left late on the lane; bend it right to curve right. A straight swipe throws a straight ball.

What is the bonus frame?

After the tenth frame you can watch an optional ad once per game to bowl one extra frame: a strike adds 30 points, a spare 20, otherwise the pins you knock down.
